Why this tool

Strong by default, quiet on the page.

A password is ready when the page opens. Strength comes from the generator settings, not from a green bar that likes capitals. Passphrases use a published word list. Arabic is a first-class UI, not an afterthought.

Created on your device

The value is built in this tab with the browser’s cryptographic RNG. We do not upload it. The page uses the same fonts and analytics as the rest of the site.

Password or passphrase

Twenty mixed characters for accounts you paste into. Five Diceware words when you have to type or read it aloud.

Arabic-ready

Switch the chrome to ع. The password stays left-to-right so copy and paste stay safe.

Frequently asked questions

Is this password generator free?

Yes. No account, no watermark.

Do generated passwords leave my device?

No. Creation and copy run in this tab. We do not upload the password. The page uses the same analytics and fonts as the rest of the site.

How is strength calculated?

From the generator settings (pool size and length, or word-list size and word count), not from “has a capital and a digit.” Crack times are labelled assumptions.

What is a passphrase?

Random words from a published list. Five words from the EFF large list are a strong, typeable option for a master password.

هل الواجهة بالعربية؟

نعم. بدّل إلى ع من الترويسة. تبقى كلمة المرور نفسها باتجاه LTR حتى يمكن نسخها بأمان.

Can I use this for a password-manager master key?

Prefer a six-word passphrase or a long random password. The Very strong label is guidance, not a guarantee.
